Welcome to Respecting Living Beings of SEAL Compass for Stage 3 students!
The SEAL Compass is a systematic curriculum composed of 12 stages, of 4 courses each, where the mastery of 5 vital sets of competencies is achieved through a groundbreaking learning approach, placing human development at its core, unleashing strengths and elevating their academia performance. This program is designed to harness students' strengths in various aspects of life, encouraging students to accomplish challenging projects that promote metacognition development, strengths awareness, social and emotional intelligence, and positive habits, further developing their executive functions.

This program is designed to harness students' strengths in various aspects of life, encouraging students to accomplish challenging projects that promote metacognition development, strengths awareness, social and emotional intelligence, and positive habits, further developing their executive functions.
Below are the detailed competencies objectives of the course:
Metacognition module:
- Identify when they feel confident or unsure about something because of what they've done before
- Follow instructions and checklists to monitor how they're doing on their own.
- Write or orally express their reflections on their performance
- Identify at least one strategy they used that helped them succeed in completing a challenging task.
Strengths Exploration module:
- Understand the definition of strengths of reasoning, elementary, and generating ideas.
- Identify tasks or actions that demonstrate reasoning, elementary thinking, and idea generation.
- Describe students' reasoning processes, elementary approaches, and idea generation.
- Observe behavior and identify how students utilize reasoning, elementary, and idea generation skills in various situations.
- Reflect on instances where these three strengths were beneficial and describe them using descriptive language.
Social and Emotional Intelligence module:
- Self-awareness
- Social Awareness
- Responsible Decision Making
Habitology module:
- Students will know the renewable and depleting resources.
- Students will understand how garbage goes.
- Students will identify the difference between organic and inorganic garbage.
- Students will understand the value of sorting different types of waste.
Strength-Based Project Management module:
- Introduce students to the concept of recycling plastic bags waste.
- Collect data and create an empathy map based on the problems and needs of the users.
- Define and create a problem statement.
- Draw a solution.
- Present the project plan.

* each Stage is composed of 4 courses that need to be completed in order to move to the next Stage.
