Welcome to [My Actions and Their Impact to My Surroundings] project of SEAL Compass for Stage 1 students!

The SEAL Compass is a systematic curriculum composed of 12 stages, of 4 courses each, where the mastery of 5 vital sets of competencies is achieved through a groundbreaking learning approach, placing human development at its core, unleashing strengths and elevating their academia performance. This program is designed to harness students' strenghts in various aspects of life, encouraging students to accomplish challenging projects that promote metacognition development, strengths awareness, social and emotional intelligence, and positive habits, further developing their executive functions.

Below are the detailed main objectives of the course:

Metacognition module:
- Students will identify enjoyable and challenging activities.
- Students will understand tasks, requirements, and follow instructions.
- Students will reflect on task experiences.
- Students will share their task recognition journey.

Strengths Exploration module:
- Students will define "reasoning" strength, identify related tasks, understand different reasoning activities in the term, observe their actions demonstrating reasoning, and describe instances using basic phrases and personal experiences.

Social and Emotional Intelligence module:
- Self-awareness and Social Awareness: Students will identify (within themselves and of others) and describe various human emotions, namely joy, fear, sadness, and anger.
- Self-management: Students will apply knowledge about the emotions by expressing emotions in a healthy manner.

Habitology module:
- Students will grasp the basic concepts of fairness and justice in law.
- Students will observe and work together to follow the rules at home.
- Students will comprehend the rights and responsibilities within their household.

Strength-Based Project Management module:
- Students will to the concept of healthy environment.
- Conduct interview and create an empathy map based on the problems and needs of the users.
- Define and create a problem statement.
- Draw a solution.
- Present the project plan.

* each Stage is composed of 4 courses that need to be completed in order to move to the next Stage.
